Harvest Rainwater
A good place to start, if you are a resident, or nearby, like Rockport, is the City of Corpus Christi.

Corpus Christi offers 55-gallon rain barrels for $47 plus tax, available year-round while supplies last to help with water conservation. The program is open to all area residents, with a limit of two per household. Purchases are made at City Hall (Central Cashiering), followed by pickup at the City’s Warehouse on Civitan Drive. Same day pickup.

Features: Each barrel holds 55 gallons, is roughly 34"H x 24"W, and includes a spigot and bug screen.

The 1st Weekend in November, Keep Aransas County Beautiful does a cleanup post Summer Season fun. They pick up 1000s of lbs. of Summer Fun trash that flies out of boats and the beach.

Plant Native Plants
The need to Restore Little Bay is a major undertaking. Maintaining proper soil health in the surrounding areas is also important. Planting native plants that require minimal water and no weed and feed chemicals is also needed. To that end please check out these links to find the plants best suited to the Bay area.
